Brent crude trading at $81.33/bbl

Crude oil prices increased Rs28 to Rs6,391 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. On MCX, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs28 or 0.44 per cent at Rs6,391 per barrel in 11,435 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was down by 0.70 per cent to $76.56 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.77 per cent lower at $81.33 per barrel in New York.
